Rough Trade is closing its Williamsburg warehouse in spring of 2020, after 7 years in Brooklyn. When I heard they were leaving this iconic space, I felt sad for that neighborhood but hopeful that something great will pop-up; their indie label, Rough Trade Records, has put out albums since the 70s by some of my favorites like the Smiths, Arcade Fire, The Strokes and Jarvis Cocker.
The space has great potential so i wonder what will be next.
